The hidden side.
a little nugget of interesting news was released to me by ruth yesterday.
that kind of set me thinking.
how am i supposed to cope with that if people dont take me seriously?
no one ever does.
even when i really am serious.
sometimes, i brush these incidents aside, but at times it really gets me pissed.
why cant jokers be serious? just because i dont normally show my angry face in school does not equate to the fact that i'm ok with whatever people do to me.
oh yeah...
jaclyn, always joker one!
jaclyn, can never take things seriously one!
jaclyn, that one can walk all over her and she wont do anything about it!
jaclyn, aiyah that one always slack one.
at first when people made comments like these to me, i didnt really have much reaction to it.
but now when a position of leadership is practically offered to me and people have such reactions to it, really pisses me off.
humour me for a little while, wont you?
imagine you not being taken seriously even when you really are serious.
doesnt that frustrate you?
when you are pissed, people still can provoke you, thinking that you wont react strongly just because its not really in your nature to do so.
doesnt that make you angry at all?
i've realised that there are still alot of things that people at school dont know about me and i guess all will be revealed when we enter sec 4.
only then will people learn to respect others more even though they are usually just jokers/lamers.
because, seriously, its not funny.
and yes, i do take indoor seriously. so, expect a jaclyn that doesnt kid around during combined indoor practices after 1st july.
